Anonymous asked: tumblr crush?
Oh, an anonymous question! I was waiting for one of those (Well, one of those that didn’t insult me as a person or include incriminating photos of me)
I feel like the phrase “tumblr crush”, since you didn’t really care to elaborate, more pertains to the blogs I have crushes on, and not the people behind the blogs who I’d like to be randomly involved with. Though I know there are blogs out there that are lovely/beautiful/contain pictures of boobs, I’m gonna just stick to the blogs I am hardcore crushing on the most, usually because they have unique content and look sexy in dresses. I suggest you follow them too (it should also be noted that I’m judging these purely off of blog content; these are usually very original, entertaining, and I haven’t given them the credit they deserve. This ruled out a few blogs of close friends that I’ve mentioned before and the amazing blog kept by Donald Glover).
- Distracted by Star Wars: Truly one of my guilty pleasures a-la tumblr. This website is like the Daily What for purely Star Wars related material, and usually I’ll find something on there I have to keep from not buying/trying to find on the internet. This blog also kept me occupied for MANY hours at work as I thumbed through backlogged pages.
- Quotes from Last Night: This is a blog kept up by a new friend I met this year named Corinne. She’s not only genuinely witty, but she simply is cataloging some of the funniest quotes of her nights out. I genuinely enjoy this, and even when I’m not involved I’ve very excited to see her updated blog stuff. Always a laugh.
- Since She Left: This was the first blog I followed that other friends of mine followed as well (which I only learned later). It was a really cool concept, the letters and musings of the recently dumped, and more often than I’d like to admit I found solace here. Started as a his/her project, creator Mike Waskom has taken over solely and has now opened it up to the public. It’s home to great music, cool photography, and killer reflections on a dark time. As compared to some of the other blogs, it’s one of those ones that makes me think and explore, as opposed to just laugh.
- OPWGKTA (Odd Peanuts Wolf Gang Kill Them All): Easily the weirdest blog I follow. This one comes heavily recommended by my friend Chase, and it works almost solely because of juxtaposition. The atrociously vile and ridiculous wordplay of Tyler the Creator and company from Odd Future paired with the animation from Peanuts Cartoons. Yeah, this one makes me laugh out loud for all the wrong reasons. Definitely NSFW.
- Dear Coke Talk: Another great NSFW, but in a completely different way. The woman (or man, who really knows on the internet) who anonymously takes on the moniker of our f’d up generations “Dear Abby”, Coke Talk is crude, ridiculous, and very rarely wrong. This is a blog that has legitimately made me, Riley, Ryan and Kat sit and discuss topics over and over. Coke Talk will be brought up once a meeting, without a doubt, because it’s just that good. And like I said, she’s not often wrong.
- The Kids Don’t Stand a Chance: This would be the blog of miss Megan Stein, a close friend who kinda shoved me into blogging. She was the first person to reblog me, and make sure I was writing, and her stuff is good. Yes, she does the same reblogging most of us get caught up in, but when she writes, its my favorite thing. She’s good at it, her personality shines through, and I wouldn’t do this if it wasn’t for her
Any other questions?
